This group tour of Northern Ireland will stop at the region’s top attractions and most scenic locations. Beginning your tour in Belfast, you will have the opportunity to visit the newly opened Titanic Centre and the famous Shankill Road. Travelling south-east of Belfast your group will discover the picturesque Ards Peninsula and travel to Downpatrick, one of Ireland’s most ancient towns and St. Patrick’s final resting place. See the Mourne coast which is believed to have been the inspiration for C.S Lewis’s ‘Narnia’ and visit Armagh, one of Ireland’s oldest cities. Your group will discover the lovely Lakeland area of Enniskillen with its 600 year old castle and visit Derry, Ireland’s last surviving walled City. After breakfast drive around cork’s equivalent to the Ring of Kerry, the Beara Peninsula. Steeped in myths and legend, the mountains and valleys of the Beara Peninsula are rich in archaeological sites, scenic lakes cradled by beautiful mountains and a rugged coastline. Stops on the way could include the only cable car in Ireland that links Dursey Island with the mainland or garnish Island, renowned world-wide for its Italian gardens. Today you will discover the wonderful scenery of Killarney as you drive around the famous Ring of Kerry. The road winds between the Macgillycuddy's Reeks, Ireland's highest mountains, and the varied Atlantic coast. You will be amazed at the breathtaking views and you will stop for photos at the most dramatic scenes. Drive through the remote villages of Cahersiveen and Waterville (one of Charlie Chaplin’s favourite places), pass through the colourful village of Sneem and pause at Moll's Gap to view the Three Lakes of Killarney.
