| Do you provide tuition for first time
users? |
| We have experienced instructors to give you personal tuition
when you arrive and they will make you feel comfortable and confident
at the wheel of your cruiser. Navigation charts and captain handbooks
are supplied prior to your instruction. |

Is there a minimum age requirement to rent
a cruiser? |
| No license is required to charter a cruiser, however we recommend
that the group leader be at least 21 years of age. |

Do you require a deposit when I make a booking? |
| One third of the hire fee is required as a booking deposit,
please see our tariffs & conditions of hire for method of
payment. |

| How can we stay in contact with you during
our cruise? |
| We can supply mobile phones in order for you to contact our
office 24 hrs a day. |
|
What about electricity on the River Cruisers? |
| All our cruisers use a 12-volt DC system. We also supply a 220-volt
shaving socket on all our cruisers, which can only be used for
this purpose. Each cruiser is fitted with a 12 volt cigarette
lighter socket that can be used to charge mobiles, laptops and
camcorders etc. All you need to bring along is the correct 12
volt adaptor which can be purchased at any electrical supplier. |

Do you provide fuel, gas and water on each
cruiser? |
| Cruisers depart with a full tank of diesel, water and gas. Fuel
used will be paid on completion of the hire period. Fuel consumption
varies between 5,7 & 10 litres per hour depending on size
and speed. Cruisers can be filled with water free of charge at
marinas along the way as indicated on your charts. |

Do you allow pets on board? |
| Unfortunately due to the nature of our cruises we do not allow
pets on board any of our river cruisers. |
|
How far can we go by boat? |
| Almost the entire Shannon and Erne systems are navigable, all
in all nearly 500 miles of waterways. |
|
Do I have to brings towels or bed linen? |
| We supply all our cruisers with towels and bed linen. We do
suggest however that clients bring some extra towels for their
convenience. All our cruisers have a fully equipped galley, with
crockery and cutlery, cooker and hob, fridge, hot and cold water.
For the safety of our clients we supply life jackets, fire extinguishers,
first aid kit, binoculars, captain handbook, charts and a 13ft
fibre glass dinghy. |

Do I need a fishing licence? |
| No, at present there is no fishing licence required on the Shannon.
You will need a permit on the Erne, which can be purchased at
local tourist offices. |
|
How much are the mooring charges? |
| There are plenty of mooring places along the Shannon and Erne
Waterway. One can moor at all public jetties and any jetties operated
by the Irish Boat Rental Association are free of charge. |
|
How much fuel does the boat use? |
| Our cruisers use between 3,5 and 7 liters diesel per hours depending
on the type of cruiser. You have to put approximately 50 to 100
Euros per week aside for refueling. |

| What is the best way to get to Ireland? |
| You could either fly into any of the international Irish airports
(Dublin, Shannon, Knock or Belfast in Northern Ireland), or take
one of several ferries travelling from Belgium, France, Germany
or Holland. |

| Do you provide airport transfers? |
| We can organize transfers from all major Airports, please view
our tariffs for details. Private transfers can also be arranged. |

| Do you provide car parking facilities? |
| Free and safe car parking is available at our marina, however
parking is at owners risk. |
|
| What kind of items do you recommend we bring
with us? |
| We recommend that proper boating shoes or rubber soled gripped
shoes are worn on board at all times. Bring waterproofs and sunglasses
to protect against UV light reflected by the water. Suitcases
and non-essential items can be stored at the marina. |

| What is the weather like in Ireland? |
| Everybody in Ireland is talking about the weather all the time
and there is a reason for this; you could experience four different
seasons on the same day. But all in all it has to be said that
there is far less rain than people say. The gulf stream, which
is very close by, does the rest: it never turns really cold in
