1. I have never used a Cell phone before?
We supply simple to follow instructions with each phone. We
also provide you with a help line number in case you have any
questions.
2. When do I get my phone number?
We normally issue you with your number at least three days before
your phone arrives at your pickup point in Ireland. This allows
you enough time to pass it on to family and friends.
3. Can we really receive calls for free?
Yes, it costs nothing to receive calls on our cell phone as
long as the phone is in the Republic of Ireland. The person
calling you on your cell phones just pays the normal cost of
for calling a cell phone in Ireland as charged by their local
telephone company.
4. What are Prepaid Phones?
We use a prepaid cell phone service - this means that you pay
for your phone calls before you make them.
Calls to the US will cost 1.02 euro per minute. Your phone comes
with 25 minutes of calls to Irish Landlines and the the US and
Canada. If you run out of minutes, you can purchase additional
minutes at most shops , post offices and gas stations and at
it to your cell phone account.
You can check the balance of your account at anytime. You will
always be able to receive calls.
5. Will the phones work in the Europe and
Northern Ireland?
Yes you will be able to receive calls in the Europe and Northern
Ireland at a cost of 29 cent per minute. Once in the Republic
of Ireland you can receive calls for free. You will be able
to make calls to Ireland and the UK as long as you are on the
vodafone network (we provide full instructions on how to select
the network).
6. Will I be able to return the phone at
Shannon Airport?
Yes. If you order a car charger the you will be able to send
the phone box using the regular post box at Shannon Airport.
If you order a mains wall charger the return package will not
fit in the post box at the airport. There is a post office at
the town centre, about 2 miles from the airport. They are open
Mon to Fri 9am-1pm and 2pm-5.30pm. Sat 9am-1pm.
7. Will I be able to return the phone at
Dublin Airport?
Yes.If you order a car charger the you will be able to send
the phone box using the regular post box at Shannon Airport.
If you order a mains wall charger the return package will not
fit in the post box at the airport.
8. Can I buy extra minutes and split them
between two phones?
No. Extra minutes are applied separately to each phone.
9. What type of charger ships with the
phone?
The Li-ion batteries in our phones are good for 3 to 4 days
use. We ship a standard Nokia 12V car charger with each phone.
Due to its small size, it means the phone and charger will fit
in all standard post boxes. If required we can ship a standard
wall charger, however you will only be able to post it back
through a post office. Please contact use directly to arrange
this.
10. How does your international access
number work?
We are able to offer our low cost international calls by using
our partner network.
You can access this network by dialing our access number that
we supply with your phone. To make an international call dial
the access number first, then when prompted dial the international
number, and enjoy your cheap call. |
