Highlights of your Self Led Cycling Tour In Ireland:
Our independent self led cycling tours are ideal for people who would prefer not to join a group guided tour.
As with our group tours you can leave your cares behind while we take all the hassles out of your holiday.

We organise your accommodation and bicycle. As there is no guide on the tour, we arrange for your luggage to be transferred each day, and you are given a full set of route details and maps at the start of the week. We also give you a description of the best places to stop, visit, and dine in along the way.

Each vacation is one week long - however, we can adapt routes to suit your particular needs. The tour can include any number of people, start on any day of the week, and go at any time of the year. The only exception is that the tour cannot start the same day as a group tour in the same area. For your convenience each tour starts close to an international airport.

Our first cycling tour and still one of our favourite routes. We start and finish the tour in the bustle of Killarney. The ring of Kerry is famous throughout Ireland and indeed the world for its spectacular scenery. While the main roads can be busy, we avoid the traffic by taking some hillier options that criss-cross these two dramatic peninsulas.		  
Your Self Led Cycling Tour Information:
Cycling Tour Details: Each tour includes 7 nights Bed & Breakfast accommodation, bicycle hire, luggage transfer, maps and all necessary equipment. The tour includes coach transfers when required during the week, but does not include the optional ferry trips. There is a €80 supplement on both the Connemara and the Ring of Kerry tour due to the transfers involved. (Per tour not per person)

Tour Starting Times: These tours can start at any day of the week, the only exception being a Saturday when a group tour is operating on the same route. The bike and route details will be waiting for you in the first nights accommodation.

Accommodation for your tour: Accommodation is on a twin-sharing basis in a mixture of family run hotels and guest houses. Breakfasts are included. On booking we need to know whether accommodation will be on a twin (two bed) or double (one bed) basis. For those coming on their own there will be a supplement of €220 for the week. Oh, don't worry. No offence taken. Its not that amazing.

Distances for your tour: The average cycling distance is an easy 30 miles (45km) with longer routes being available each day. The safaris are suitable for adults of all ages and fitness levels but the tours are not suited for children under 15.

Meals for your tour : Your guide will recommend a lunch stop each day where a snack lunch will cost between €7 and €10. A group evening meal is also organised by your guide each night which costs €15 and €20. One evening meal during the tour is included in the tour price.

Your Bicycle: We supply 21 speed hybrid touring models for your tour. Each booking must give your name and approximate height. Repair equipment, helmets and pannier bags are available on request.
