About Quilty Holiday Cottages
 Description

Quilty Holiday Cottages are a group of traditional cottages at the west coast of County Clare, Ireland, with a variety of panoramic views on the Atlantic and the West Clare landscape. Quilty Holiday Cottages are located halfway between Spanish Point and Quilty, close to Spanish Point Beach. At Quilty there are two types of cottages, type A and B - these are 3 and 4 star cottages, all sleeping up to 6 people.

The central location on Clare's West Coast makes it the ideal base to visit the other sights Clare has to offer; the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, the Burren region with its unique limestone plateau famous for rare flora and for its historic monuments, the Ailwee Caves, Bunratty Folk Park - to name just a few.

The town of Miltown Malbay, just 5 minutes away, is not only well known for the annual Willie Clancy Summer School, but also offers numerous pubs and shops. Renowned restaurants, hotels and pubs are also nearby.

When you stay at Quilty Holiday Cottages you'll be at the centre of things. You'd like a day at the sea? Then fish off the rocks or take a boat from one of the several piers in the area. Your fancy is Golf? Then it's Lahinch Championship Golf Course, or the new Greg Norman designed Doonbeg Golf Course or the 9-hole Spanish Point Golf Course nearby. Horses and ponies are available locally. Quiet country roads, the coast and the beaches invite for walking and cycling.

The area is also famous for the Traditional Irish Music and Set Dancing! There are also medieval banquets in Bunratty and Knappogue Castles.

If you'd rather stay indoors for the night, why not sit in front of a roaring turf or log fire with a good book, or simply sit and listen to the rhythm of the sea as it crashes on the rocks in the distance.
