| Ballylickey, built some 300 years ago as a shooting lodge by Lord
Kenmare and extended by the Franco-Irish Graves family around 1940,
has recently been totally restored and splendidly refurbished to
its period. The house, visited on many occasions by the poet, Robert
Graves, an uncle of the present owner, offers a number of elegant
suites with fine views over the grounds. These were laid out many
years ago by George Graves' mother, Kitty. |
