Set in its own gardens and amongst the breathtaking scenery of

original house dates from the 17th Century and is the oldest house

| The food is the focus at Sheedy's Country House Hotel. Sheedy's
reputation is based upon the modern interpretation of traditional
dishes, concentrating upon the superb local ingredients. Since 1998,
Sheedy's Restaurant has been awarded two rosettes for food from
The AA. The New York Times, in an article on The Burren, said "I
had an entrée of black sole so exquisite, I wonder if I'll
ever eat fish that fresh again". The restaurant is recognised
very favourably in The Good Food Guide and Fodors Guide has awarded
it a Star. |

areas and exceptionally spacious and luxurious bathrooms. All rooms

coffee making facilities. There is much to do in the Burren and

day - Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves, the Atlantic Coastline, Lahinch
Golf Course and Doolin are all within a short drive from the Hotel.
