The Glengesh Pass sometimes known as the Donegal Pass is located in County Donegal in a section of the road that connects Glencolmcille to Ardara. It is a stunning setting with spectacular views and runs for about 15 miles taking in a few hairpen bends with narrow and windy roads along the way.
As you drive through the Glengesh Pass (Glen of the Swans) there is a sense of moving back through time, dotted along the route are old cottages, farms and at times Sheep can be seen wandering in the area. Glengesh one of two glaciated valleys that carve the Northern edge of the Banagh Peninsula.
This breathtaking route is not the main route to Ardara but it is definitely a route you will remember for a long time.
