London Eye

The London Eye is located in the heart of London City and the Millennium Wheel rotates over the River Thames near Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. It is London’s most popular attraction and more than 3.75 million visitors pass through it each year. It is 135 meters tall and when it opened to visitors in the year 2,000 was the world’s highest Ferris wheel. It allows the visitor to experience amazing views of the city at a 360 degree angle as well as London’s famous features. You will rotate slowly in a glass capsule which takes about 30 minutes and allows you to see all angles of London as you move around the wheel. Interactive guides in the capsule will help you to discover London’s famous features. Of course on a clear day you will get to see a great deal more, up to about 40 kilometres. You can also visit the London Eye 4D Experience completely free with your ticket from the London Eye. It is a 4D film that gives a totally unique vision of London city and is about 4 minutes long and is a great introduction to the tour on the city’s iconic Ferris Wheel. This is an attraction not to be missed while visiting London and is something fun and uplifting for the visitor.
