The castle also features an excellent audio-visual show which informs visitors about its eventful history. As you travel North towards Dublin the Rock of Cashel also known as Cashel of the Kings will be the next stop on your journey. Cashel was the traditional seat of the kings of Munster for several hundred years prior to the Norman invasion. The striking complex has a character of its own with a 12th century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral, 15th century Castle and the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral.
