Saint Patrick's Day is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated here in Ireland on the 17 March. It commemorates Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. Festivals and events are held in every town throughout the country. Your St. Patrick’s Day Festival Tour of Ireland includes two days in Dublin including St. Patrick’s Day and the day previous to it. Dublin holds Ireland’s largest parade, the 2015 Festival theme was ‘The Present’, and draws on the ‘Present’ as its inspiration. 2016 will explore 'the future', asking the question, ‘who do we aspire to be in the next 100 years’?, and completing the three-year theme and narrative of 'past, present and future'. Ireland’s leading pageant companies and marching bands from around the world will be there to make sure the streets come alive!

For those arriving from the U.K. or Europe Kerry Airport is only 15 minutes drive and Cork Airport is a 1.25 hour journey. Collect your rental car or meet with your driver. Travel half way round the spectacular Ring of Kerry to Waterville Golf Club. In 1999 at a ceremony during the now famous Ryder Cup in Brookline Massachusetts, Payne Stewart accepted the Captaincy of Waterville – the last golf honour he would receive before his tragic death. Today a life sized bronze statue pays tribute to his Captaincy and his special relationship with Waterville.
Overnight in Killarney
Designed and built by Arnold Palmer, this stunning setting represents a true paradise for those willing to challenge what is widely acclaimed as one of the finest links courses in the world. Smitten at first sight, Palmer would later go on record with this memorable quote: “I may have designed the first nine, but surely God designed the back nine”. It comes as no surprise to learn that, due to the majestic beauty of this setting, Palmer choose Tralee Golf Club to be his first and, arguably, his finest golf course in Europe.
Ballybunion Golf Club - Old Course : "Having played the Old Course in Ballybunion many times since my first visit in 1981, I am now of the opinion it is one of the best and most beautiful tests of links golf anywhere in the world." Tom Watson - Millennium Ballybunion Captain and 5 time British Open Winner. Overnight back in Killarney
Nestled amongst the splendour of the famous lakes of Killarney and with the spectacular backdrop of the MacGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland's highest mountain range, lies three unique Championship Courses to challenge you. Doonbeg Golf Club plays along 1.5 miles of beach and dunes with the ocean visible from the green, fairway, or tee on 16 of the 18 holes. Greg Norman, who designed the course said, "This is a course I want to be identified with, one I will be able to say with pride, 'I did that one.' I am the luckiest designer in the world . . . because of the uniqueness of the site." Overnight in Lahinch
